About the Artist

I just turned 14 and have been a part of EAST or the Austin Studio tour the past four years. I have autism and that helps me to focus on details of the things I am passionate about. I create art that aligns with my passions although the past year I've had some cool commissions that include landscapes and a few abstract pieces. Currently I love all things Terminator and Robocop. My art has grown from a 5 year old creating street signs with markers. I love to create!

Artist Statement

Newly 14 years old and this is my fourth year in the studio tour. I am autistic and love to create things that I am passionate about. My autism gives me a hyper focus to detail that I put into everything that I do. I've had several commissions in the past few years that have allowed me to paint things outside of my interest areas which has been really fun and interesting. I got my start in art with markers and a notebook at the age of three. I refused to use crayons or colored pencils so my mom thought to try these. I never looked back. My passion at this time was road signs and I filled several notebooks with them. Through the years I loved to create; car logos, sponge bob, castles, Pennywise, zombies...the list goes on. My present passion is Arnold Schwarzenegger and the Terminator. My daily art is created with foam paper, sharpies, and a glue gun. You can find several examples are on my social media posts. I prefer to paint with acrylic on canvas and have ventured into doing some abstract work that always has a peak into something I love hidden within.
