Artist Statement
Most recently I have been combining my three-dimensional ceramic work with my encaustic paintings. I continue to be interested in the visual contrast between antiquity and modernism. In addition, I have been incorporating the use of ceramic masks and visual layers in my work as symbols of the many different roles that we all maintain within our own everyday lives.
