About the Artist
concept animals is an artist-ran, Austin-based platform that supports contemporary creatives and fosters art theory conversations. concept animals was created in April 2020 by Casey Alfstad and Hayley Labrum Morrison and is made possible by a growing team.
Artist Statement
The Crit Nites Group Exhibition is the culmination of the first series of Crit Nites, a 3-month virtual critique program that united 40 artists and 8 moderators from the local art community. Artists that had only met virtually through Crit Nites will exhibit their work side-by-side in a physical space for the first time.
