Invoking the analogy of water breaking its linear form and becoming disorderly, (turbulent), the exhibit uses motion-tracking and projection mapping technology to capture the movement of individuals in a three-dimensional space. These inputs are then projected onto a screen and rendered to show the "turbulence" of space.

About the Artist

Harrison is an artist and architectural designer interested in the intersection between digital and physical space. He is the founder of Interval Design Inc, a parametric design/fabrication firm, and has also worked extensively in the design/fabrication industries.

Artist Statement

Artist’s Statement: Coming from a background of architecture and fabrication, Harrison seeks to advance the artistic potential of computer-aided design, specifically as it pertains to programing and parametrically guided construction. This has, so far, taken the form of both physical fabrication and digital art, and the intention is to see these two realms converge through the projects exhibited in this year’s show. mediums include digital printmaking/photo processing, projection mapping, fabrication, and parametrically derived architecture.
