Lisa Michelle Jackson is an artist, dancer, improv comedian, and writer. She enjoys science and the arts and looks for ways to meld the two fields.
Artist Statement
I am a naturalist and use an organic creative process. I enjoy the experimentation of creating art and discovering how to bring my vision to reality as I'm doing it. My art expresses my appreciation of biology, the natural world, and the ways that humans relate to it. I hope for the viewer to notice beauty in the often overlooked parts of the natural world, and to feel a celebration of life and death.
