About the Artist

I’ve always been a creative person and enjoyed making things that usually live at the intersection of aesthetically pleasing and functional. For the last 9 years, working primarily with fused glass, polymer clay and sterling silver, I’ve been creating a wide range of work from functional objects, to fine art, and jewelry. Many of the pieces have been acquired by national and international collectors.

Artist Statement

I create as a response to an intuitive search for harmony and balance. In my art I attempt to reveal fragments of my inner world, and share them with the world.Memories, thoughts and feelings that live deep in my subconscious, become shapes and colors reclaiming an abstracted space. Ideas develop in layers of glass, enamels, or sheets of clay and progress in an open conversation between the piece and myself. The result is an abstraction of a fleeting moment, or emotion resembling a bloom, or a nest, a snippet of an imaginary old town, or a forgotten landscape.
