Artist Statement
Currently exploring both the comfort of nostalgia and the humor in romanticism. The symbols and tropes of the old American West are near and dear to my aesthetic, yet much of the Wild West is best left in the dust. This collection of rawhide, etched copper, silver, and heirloom deadstock mother-of-pearl bolo ties are designed to evoke conversation and connection.
