About the Artist
Matthew is a Woodworker who makes Heirloom quality Custom Furniture in East Austin. He studied Wooden Boat building in the Pacific Northwest and Furniture making in the Northeast.
Artist Statement
Whether working on a scale that is small and intimate, large and grand or somewhere in between, the goal is to imbue each piece with the same sensitivity and craftsmanship.I use a mixture of traditional and modern techniques to craft furniture that will enhance and complement the space in which they reside. built methodically to last a lifetime.
