Watch me mount some of my images on boards and coat with encaustic wax in preparation for the studio tour. This is not an instructional video. To learn how to do this, contact the A Smith Gallery in Johnson City, TX. Amanda Smith and Kevin Tully are experts and give workshops on this topic.

Artist Statement

My images are personal and capture what I love: family, home and my natural surroundings. Through portraiture and photographs of the natural world, I explore concepts of time, impermanence and the relationship we have with the world around us. I use a variety of film and digital cameras, often paired with vintage lenses, to find the stillness I seek to convey in my images.
