About the Artist
As an artist, my first career started in 2008 as a professional ballet dancer. After the career-altering injury of breaking my ankles, I started exploring the fields of visual art by working with digital and physical mediums during my long recovery. I started living life on a spiritual journey. My art is informed by this journey and esoteric study, but mainly by what I see clairvoyantly during my practice or while performing a healing. In tandem with my art, my work as a healer and practitioner of energy medicine is also central to my life. I work with clients in 1-on-1 sessions, both in person or remotely. The healing practice I perform is a no-touch modality that addresses general etheric cleansing, pain, trauma, death, space clearing, and support in your spiritual development. Much of what I see and experience during my spiritual practice is shared through my art and my writing. It is my passion. To read about the visions that informed my art, my spiritual journey, and my experiences of living a spiritual life in the modern world please check out the blog page on my website www.Navaji.com
Artist Statement
I believe the highest goal of art is to connect our soul to our divine nature and that sanctity is the birthright of all beings. As a multi-ethnic queer person, informed and studied in different religions and esoteric schools of thought, I share my art because what my inner senses see is more inclusive than what is normally shown. My art is a bridge linking the material world and the spiritual – that which lies beyond the experience of our common physical sense world. Through my skills in visual art and my career in dance, I offer a unique intersection of disciplines to express a visionary language into form. I offer renderings of my clairvoyant visions as placeholders for what is ineffable yet still encountered within. To express higher dimensions and astral qualities my art is both UV sensitive and phosphorescent so that under the right conditions you can see what through clairvoyant vision is represented in greater completeness.
