Steven is an artist based in Austin, Texas. His primary medium is photography, exploring and reinterpreting it through various complimentary photo-based mediums—photographic paper, traditional and alternative processes, digital technologies, interactive experiences, and sculpture.

I’m not interested in representing a precise location, a perfectly framed setting, or a specific moment in time often shown in photography, but instead expressing the mess, the playful emotions that live within it, underneath it, above it, next to it, around it, and sometimes slightly adjacent to it.
