I paint the natural world — birds, creatures, land, water, sky and light. Each of my paintings represents a specific moment of personal connection with nature. Working from photographs and memories, I recreate the feelings of the moment, the character of the place, the personality of the bird or animal, and the light. For me, the natural world is an endless adventure as well as source of wisdom and peace, and the key to spiritual and emotional health. I hope my work rekindles the connection for those humans among those who might have lost it.
