About the Artist

Live like a hobbit. Have a double life, i.e. regular job. I just paint to trick people into reading my books. It usually works. I include text from my books on all of my paintings.

Artist Statement

My name is Kafka Lenton. Painting is just a cover up for me being a writer. I have written 23 full-length novels, none of which I have tried to publish. My first book, which may or may not exist, is referred to in almost all of my books. I wrote the book of a generation that no one read because I never gave it to them to read. I just never thought to try and publish it. I don't know why. I guess I was too busy writing the next book.
