About the Artist
Kandice is an Austin based artist and is originally from Georgia. She has explored many disciplines, but most recently completed a series of portraits of both people and animals in pencil and oil paint. Her next series will be in oil paint and focus on west Texas landscapes.
Artist Statement
Creating art has been a lifelong passion and is now part of my everyday life. My goal is to create treasured family heirlooms by using pictures of family, pets, or from that special place by the lake to make artwork that will be forever cherished.
For me, 2020 brought with it many changes and opportunities. Those changes have allowed me to dedicate more time to art and I'm very excited about future adventures with art.
