I began metalsmithing while studying Studio Art at the University of Texas at Austin in 1993. I am attracted to the weight, balance, and movement whether I'm using circles, clouds or skulls. Experimenting, emulating, and interpreting multiple forms and permutations first on paper, then taking those forms and iterating them into metal. Visually and conceptually organic, but at the same time focusing on clean lines and playfulness. I use a variety of materials such as sterling silver, gold vermeil, enamel and natural stones with traditional metalsmithing techniques to create multiple collections in my signature style.
